I have lived in Hawaii for almost 12 years and have purchased many swimsuits throughout the years. Some I returned and the rest have sat in my closet or I donated. (I’ve had six babies and let’s just say that I felt majorly uncomfortable in all the swimsuits I had purchased previously.)
About six years ago, I heard about Jessica Rey swimsuits. Still I just wasn’t sure I would be comfortable in these swimsuits either. (I had purchased other supposedly ‘full coverage’ swimsuits and well to put it simply, they weren’t full coverage.)
Finally, after the last swimsuit sale I decided to take the plunge. I bought the Eliza swim dress and the Jacquelin. And I’m so glad I did!
First off the quality of the fabric, WOW, it is unlike any of the many swimsuits I had tried before. Secondly, the cut provided great coverage but isn’t frumpy at all. (Actually it’s truly flattering.) Thirdly, these swimsuits are super cute (and the Paprika color was even better than in the photo).
The only cons I do wish the bottoms were separate from the top on both of these since my lower half is smaller than my upper half. So I put some of my sewing skills to use and altered them and they fit great now.

(For size reference- I’m 5’ 5”, 115lb., hips 37, waist 29, bust 35 and I ordered a M because my chest cavity is on the larger side. The top part of these swimsuit's is a great fit on me.)

The hipster cut works great for my mildly pear shaped body. It requires zero adjustments/ pulling it over my butt cheeks when I get out of the water. I can comfortably swim laps in this suit. My measurements fall in the medium sizing but I ordered a small after trying other styles and it fits great, with the exception of the belt which is ridiculously small and I can't wear. All in all, I'm very happy and I hope they make this style in lots more colors and prints.

I have been a long-time fan of Rey Swimwear, and have always appreciated the classy, modest cuts and the beautiful patterns on every swimsuit. I was hesitant to try the Jacqueline style, because I usually feel self-conscious if I don't have the extra coverage of a skirt on the bottom. I am SO glad that I decided to try this one though because it is SO beyond cute and extremely flattering to an hour-glass shape, while still providing a modest amount of coverage. I have had so many people comment on it, and I am so happy with my purchase. The only thing that I will say about sizing is, if you want to be able to comfortably fasten the belt, consider sizing up. The suit fits me like a glove, and when the belt is secured, it looks adorable, but it is VERY tight and does not feel as comfortable as it looks.
Overall, this is one of my top 3 bathing suits that I've ever owned! The others also being Rey Swimwear, coincidentally.

I am so excited to wear this suit this summer! It fits like a glove and the material feels luxurious and substantial. I love that the torso fabric makes it so versatile-- it can be bunched up to hide any stomach issues, or pulled down to look like a cute vintage mini-skirt suit. My husband is also *very* happy with it!

I bought your original version of this suit a long time ago- I think it was called Ann. I loved it, but wore it to death (after 8+ years!). Last year, I tried the Audrey tankini hoping it would fit the same, but I really needed a one-piece. Thanks for bringing this in- the torso length fits much better than the original and the belt is an added bonus piece because I can wear it with or without. Lovely!
